So a lot of things have happened since I last wrote to you. It's been a lot, and my mental health has been shaky. I abandoned my Youtube channel for a bit and I just really needed to take a chill pill. I make videos when I'm happy, and when I don't feel like myself, I prefer to write. Let's catch up...

I got Invited to be a Guest Speaker at an Event!


Guys! Me! Chidimma Okorafor! Sorry.....Igbinedion...don't let my in-laws come for me! So I got a mail from the co-founder of AfriteQ Academy. She wanted me to be a guest speaker in one of their career programs I was excited I couldn't believe it, I was nervous at the same time. I shared it with all my family members I shared with my husband shared with my sister my mom my dad and some of my friends I was like I've not done this before like how do I go about this.

Appreciation post: Family is everything!

 For those who are very close to me, it is no news that my dearest dad was ill for a while. It was the scariest time of my life. We moved from one hospital to the other. The doctors kept treating him for Malaria and Typhoid. He began to lose weight, he wasn't sleeping, he wasn't eating well, he was constantly losing energy, and most of all, he was becoming very AFRAID.

My dad used to be the very energetic man, the life of the party, the powerful VOICE that never needed a microphone no matter the magnitude of the crowd, the one person that had "everything' under control but all of a sudden, that person was nowhere to be found. What happened? Let's see...

7 months later...

 

It has been 7 months since I relocated to the much-dreaded city! Already? Na wa o. Reality check: I am still in Ibadan...lol. How have I been coping? I'll tell you how. I can't believe it's been over 2 months since I last wrote to you guys, my wonderful readers. First, how much do you like my hair? (Look out for the picture at the bottom of the page).
