Corona Virus......shit's getting real!
Hey guys! Welcome to my blog. I took a well deserved break. Corona virus is in the air so we're all hibernating at home. Social media has a way of watering down the seriousness of scary situations and at the same blowing the panic out of proportion. It is important that we take precautionary measures and at the same time avoid panicking.

About the author...
Hey people! So it's been a while. I've been doing a lot of research and soul searching. So this probably should have been the first post on the blog but it's better late than never right? Yes! I knew you'd agree with me. Let's get to today's gist.

The Marriage Advisors

Yes! I call them "advisors" because they seem to have taken an official position. The Merriam Webster Dictionary says and I quote " Advisor tends to be used for people having an official position—for example, an advisor to the president". But just because I am nice, I'll call them advisers. Let's get to the gist of the day.

Life in Ibadan with no Job
So many of my friends are aware that I resigned from my job in Lagos. After wedding plans and all, a sister was left high and dry. I had already started applying for jobs in Ibadan before I resigned but as we all know, there are fewer job opportunities here. My lovely ex-colleagues and friends occasionally send me job ads; Ifunanya, Aunty Funmi, Dapo and Chidinma Oraemesi if you're reading this, I LOVE YOU GUYS.
Now let's talk about the sitting at home everyday. At first it was fun; wake up in the morning, prepare breakfast, husband goes to work, i'll sit in front of the TV, watch funny programs and laugh my heart out and even make videos to post on my Whatsapp Status...some of you can testify.
(By the way guys I sell perfumes, long-lasting fragrances. Please check out my page on instagram: @chims_perfumery)

I even got invited for an interview that I was told to come wearing a touch of Green...LWKMD...na Usher job I wan do? Nwa Mazi has suffered sha. |

Relocation after my Wedding
So I had always been scared of moving to Ibadan. I mean I attended Lead City University Ibadan but I always saw the city as a not-so-bubbly place.
I remember back then in school when people would say "what if you get married and your husband lives in Ibadan, what will you do?" I'd shout a resounding "Never!" My people, NEVER SAY NEVER. I'm here now and i'll be taking you through my journey in the town I vowed never to return to. Please look out for my posts and please comments and questions are allowed...
